The CM254 front mowers are very user-friendly. The hydrostatic transmission has a low and high group; low for tough conditions and high for light mowing work and transport. The hydrostatic operating pedals are positioned in a logical way for comfort and ease use.
Changes in direction or speed are handled smoothly and responsively.
The large 51-liter fuel tank allows the machine to be used all day without the need to refuel. These front mowers can optionally be fitted with two double-acting valves for operating attachments (e.g. a grass collection system or a rotary broom).
The CM254 is equipped with a luxurious seat, which can be adjusted according to the driver’s weight.
The front mower is equipped with a hydraulic weight transfer system that transfers a portion of the mower’s weight to the front axle of the machine during mowing, improving the machine’s traction on slopes.
The CM254 is fitted with an automatic, fixed four-wheel drive. In difficult mowing conditions (wet or on slopes), the differential lock can be engaged by pedal to provide equal traction to both front wheels for better control.
The Shibaura mower deck can be mounted vertically without disengaging the PTO, which makes it easy to carry out maintenance on the mower deck and sharpen or change the blades.
