<br> This vehicle was specially designed for the a middle-east company application, meaning due to the barriers along the small lane width of that elevated track a stranded GRT could not be approached sideways. The salvage vehicle for that reason required to be bi-directional as it have to drive "backwards" towards the GRT, deploy the lifting platform (carried under the salvage vehicle) and connect to the salvage vehicle and drive "forward" towing the GRT on the platform. The lifting platform has guidance wheels in order to prevent the GRT on the platform being damaged by the (concrete) barriers along the track. The guidance wheels follow the curvature of those barriers. <br>
